So, had this idea...not sure if it translated very well, but I figured, what the hell?  If this gets a good reception (or if I get really bored) there may be a parts two and or three...but anyways, here we go!

Haven't been on LJ all week--still working on that screenplay (taking longer than expected), so I'm purposely making myself scarce until it's done--but there was a comment I made on a friend's FB, where she's wearing a shirt that says, "...And then Spike staked Edward."

Basically, a couple of comments lead me (getting distracted and) writing this...

I saw something posted the other day, and it reminded me of the time I tried to push down my ire and initially and not make a fuss about it.  And then I realized, after seeing the post, that yes, it still pisses me off.  So this is me, and some ponderings.

I don't like setting limits on writing.  As a writer, I can't possibly.  However ( ... )

Then I saw this post immediately after, and it got me thinking more.  In fact, I paused mid comment with my pondering--specifically about "Empty Places," and I thought about Buffy being kicked out of her own house, and what she would have said or done had she'd been black.  ( Read more... )
